Community-Based Matches

Community-based matches participate in one-to-one outings and activities in the community. Matches plan time together doing things that they both enjoy, like taking a walk in the park, going to a museum, eating a meal in your home, or just hanging out and talking. Life-changing friendships are built through the simplest of moments spent together.

Meeting with your youth doesn't require a special occasion or expensive experiences. In fact, we encourage our matches to plan outings that take advantage of our match discounts

Each match is unique and develops a schedule that works for them. While the schedule is flexible, we ask each match to meet 2-3 times a month for a 1-year commitment.
