Meet your LITTLE!
"I was matched with one of the sweetest, open-minded, beautiful little girls an individual could be matched with. She has made me smile, laugh, and realize how great it feels to be someone who can help mold her into a strong-minded young lady who will someday be exactly who she wants to be in life." ~Shaquayla Jackson, Big Sister
Mentor Match Options
Community Based
Community-based matches participate in one-to-one outings and activities doing things they enjoy together, like taking a walk in the park, going to a museum, or just hanging out and talking. Each match is unique and develops a schedule that works for them.
Site Based
Site-based matches spend time together at the youth's school or an alternate designated location. School-based matches are not limited to the classroom. Of course, some youth do talk with their mentors about class, or do homework, or read together, but it's perfectly fine to shoot hoops in the gym or play on the playground.
Plus Match
This is a combination of the Community-based and Site-based programs. You'll spend most of your time at the Youth's school or alternate designated location and have the option to explore your community as often as once a month.
